The American Pet Products Association announced this year the pet industry has reached over $100 billion in annual sales, there we go; the highest level in pet industry’s history. Amazing huh? And obviously growth is on the horizon, 2021 seems to be best year yet. So if you are in the pet business industry you would like to get some attention and have some slice from the cake right?
Well it’s not a rocket science but creating high-quality and engaging content can be challenging, no worries though with right tools it’ll be the most enjoyable thing you’ll ever done. As a professional pet photographer I am able to make any pet look just as cute as they are, I also love to take photos of my cats and actually this is why I created this website to help the pet business owners to make their presence looks just puuurfect!
So if you want to make your pet business look admirable, let’s dive in to the “to-do” list that you’d like to check step by step.
Be Sure Your Social Media Looks Puuurfect
As we all know Social Media is a powerful way to achieve marketing goals. It doesn’t matter really if you are a pet shop, pet groomer, pet store, pet training center, dog walker, veterinary clinic or pet sitter, at the end you do share photos of your own pets, take pictures of your clients’ cats and dogs, or maybe you source images from the internet, no matter what you basically need a presence to look adorable and most importantly contents people want to share and talk about. Of course finding the right image for your business might not be that easy, so you can check my stock photos. And one more thing; we all love to engage in Social Media, just be friendly with your customers or visitors, this’s why Social Media is important to keep in touch with your target.
A Website Everyone Finds Cool
There are thousands of websites and you have only a few seconds to catch and hold the visitor’s attention. So basically you need an eye candy web design with great photos and you also need a clear message to deliver. Try not to overwhelm the visitor with too much information – unless its needed for a specific reason but you can do that on your blog – try to be clear and use high quality photographs – this is where I’d like to help you with – thus you will be able to reflect your brand and your message. And don’t forget to design your website user friendly for all devices.
Blogging is the Key
People usually have questions in their minds, especially pet owners. They’d like to see how professional you are when it comes to their kids – you know we all call our pets as our kids – So it’s really important to publish regularly. This way when people search for their answers your blog post would come up. The best way to gain trust is knowing the right solution for the customer’s needs. So be patient about your blog posts and you can even hire content editors for this, and try to make your blog posts look not encyclopaedical, use images, and make sure you keep the visitor’s attention on your website, so they can also visit you again or contact you even.
To Be Seen or Not to Be Seen – Yes I am Talking About Google
Speaking of websites and blogs you know the real thing is the “searching” so yes we’re talking about Google. Did you know that Google processes over 3.5 billion searches per day? Oh my! I am also as a business owner who’s already juggling multiple tasks every day, the idea of diving into new marketing channels sounds really challenging. But it’s how things work, you know. So when you are in the pet industry whether you’re launching a business that offers care, grooming, walking, food, or fashion and accessories, there’s money to be made, but it’s up to you to find customers. And again to find the customers you need to be on top of the search lists. This is also why blogging matters for your SEO (Search Engine Optimization)!
Give People Some Treats Too
We usually like to treat our pets but we all know that we humans like treats as well. Since online marketing is very powerful for any business, but that doesn’t mean that offline marketing is dead. Of course it still works, actually on some conditions it can be more useful than online marketing. Such as, when people feel and touch things they can connect with your brand faster than you can imagine. So you can use offline tools as printed designs like flyers and brochures and you can even add coupons or maybe some treats attached.
Either way just make sure to keep your pet business consistent on both digital and traditional channels! Don’t forget to make sure your presence looks professional, where it begins with quality photos of your branding.
