Cat’s love to stretch, I love to stretch as well and let me tell you why…
The first Stretch Yourself Challenge arrived at the purr-fect time for me to get my new web-site up and running. This site was not live when I signed up for the first challenge and having a deadline really helped push me. This year I will be participating in the Stretch Yourself Challenge for the third year and I can’t wait to see what I will accomplish this year.
Keep reading to learn more about this program and see if it could be a purr-fect fit for you like it has been for me…

I recommend the SYC because I absolutely love joining in the Coaching Triad Challenge where you team up with two other members on a Zoom call and coach each other. You can ask advice about your web-site, membership programs, tripwires, and lots more. I have met several wonderful people and it’s great to connect and be Inspired.
So just by signing up and committing to the Challenge, I more than accomplished my own personal goal before even tackling the programs challenges. I am currently working to complete as many challenges as possible, building a new list of people interested in my stock photos, and learning tons of ideas to Create Meow!

The comfort zones certainly get expanded during the SYC, don’t they? I love where you talk about how it’s not only about doing things you’ve never done, but also about doing familiar things in whole new ways. That’s the challenge in a nutshell! (And I love your stretchy cat.)
Cindy Rushton says
Congrats on all of the amazing things that you are doing to “rise up!” It is amazing what we can do when we get together with others. There is something about the inspiration and the access to one another. I am so glad you are doing all that you are doing. I know that it will help me to do all of the things that are on my heart. Thanks soooo much!

Amanda, firstly I love the theme of your site. Combining your love of animals (specifically cats) as well as your photography is so unique. I can totally relate to stretching ourselves outside of our comfort zones. Congratulations on your new site. Wishing you great success on your new business adventure(s) and continued stretching.

Seems like this challenge indeed came at the purrr-fect time for to let your new creation into the world. Hopefully it inspires more creativity for you. (The cat plays on words are awesome!)
Tish Lee says
So glad to have you here stretching with us. I always like to say comfort zones are boring and meant to be stepped out of. Glad that you’re using the challenge to stretch and get moving on your new site!
By the way, I love how your site is about cats so you incorporated that into the beginning of your post and the cat stretching was the perfect image.
Lori Winslow says
I love how you wove all your “catness” into this post about business, it made me smile. Sounds like you are already seeing the benefits of the challenge with action steps you’ve taken, keep up the great work.
Amanda Myers says
I love the word “catness” You’ve inspired me with that word and now I’m going to try to fit the word catness into a blog post or two.
Jodie Bean says
Amanda, I love your site and the way you’ve incorporated the cat theme throughout! Your love for cats is obvious. The thing I am loving most about the challenge (SYC) is all the incredible content marketers I’m meeting! Just being around all the creativity – like your site – helps boost my own creativity. Keep up the great work!
Karin says
There’s nothing like a deadline to get us focused — congrats on getting your site up and running! That’s no small feat. And to follow that up by participating in the challenge … sounds like you’re on your way. My two kitties approve!

Meowch, there are so many catty phrases to use for stretching! For both cat stretches and Stretch Yourself Challenge stretches. 😉
Your post is the cat’s meow. I haven’t yet had the pleasure of doing a Coaching Triad with you, Amanda, but I would love to connect with you and someone else in one. Let’s try to make that happen this month.
Amanda Myers says
Yes I would be interested in more triads. Please let me know when you’re available.
Anita Hampl says
Amanda, I had the pleasure of sharing a Triad with you and learning about the shift in your business model. Absolutely the timing of the Stretch Yourself Challenge aligned beautifully for you, and you are killing it. (And I love, love, love the Sunflower images I bought from you!!)
Amanda Myers says
Hi Anita, Thank you so much for all your great ideas and suggestions.
Tara says
Amanda, it sounds like you enjoy the triads as much as I do. They were what really inspired me last year. Maybe we’ll get a chance to triad before it ends. I’m hoping to do a few more the very last week of September! Enjoy the challenges!
Amanda Myers says

Wow! You have obviously done a lot since you joined the stretch challenge and proof of that is this website. You have put in so much from your logo, home page, blog, shop, contact info, opt-in, and more. Congratulations!

Amanda, coming from another animal lover, I really like your stretchy cat! It’s so encouraging to learn that you didn’t have your website up and running until the challenge. It sounds like the challenge has been a great push to get you moving toward your goals. I did my first triad this week and loved it!

Wow Amanda, I really love the color scheme you have chosen for your website, it is very well put together and organized.
I also like the the way you let folks know not only about the Stretch Yourself Challenge, but how you have shown the different challenges in your posts as well. That is really great to help other readers that are not involved yet, all the cool ways they can stretch themselves as well.
You have definitely stretched yourself and you should be very proud. Now I have an idea where I can come for unique pet photography for any vet sites I build out for clients.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Robin Smith says
Amanda, You mentioned the triads. If you are still looking for someone to do a triad with, I would be happy to participate with you. I joined the group late and haven’t had an opportunity to do one yet. I’m hoping to catch one this week. Thanks.
Amanda Myers says
Yes I would be interested in a triad. Are you available Wednesday morning?
Tina Piety says
Congratulations on getting your website up and running! Your first sentence (Cat’s love to stretch, I love to stretch as well and let me tell you why…) drew me in to find out your why. I also love cats and really like your site.
Shannah Holt says
First I have to tell you how much I love your brand and how you weaved it into this review on the stretch yourself challenge. We are a furbaby family (2 dogs and 10 cats). We had 3 since we took them in almost 15 years ago, then when my mom passed away we took in hers as well as one that came to our doorstep one cold winter’s night. This is my first year in the stretch yourself challenge and I’m really enjoying it.
Amanda Myers says
Awesome I have 6 cats. Congrats on joining the challenge. Please let me know if your interested in joining a triad.
Amy Smereck says
Great job on your site! I agree that the community support is an important part of what makes the Stretch Yourself Challenge so effective. Though the live aspect of the challenge is closed for the year (live webinars and scoring) support on the forum and in Triads is available all year. I plan to work on a few more challenges through the year at my own pace.
Luanna says
I have really enjoyed participating in the triads as well. I’ve made some changes in my business just from suggestions from the triads. I’m so glad this challenge has helped you grow.
Val Selby says
I’m loving your excitement and listening to the new ideas you are coming for after the challenge!
Great job pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. We still have over a week left to see how far you can stretch 🙂
Adalia John says
Amanda, I enjoyed our triad. I hope you got as much out of it as I did. I am confident that you’ll achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself because you are willing to do the work and purr-fect your potential.
Cynthia Beckles says
Great blog post. I am a fan of triads as well. It was great to see all of the potential SYC challenges. They reminded me of all the wonderful opportunities to grow. I am looking forward to hearing more about the SYC Challenges you selected and the results. Love your use of the word “purrfect” and the final line “learning tons of ideas to Create Meow”. Congratulations on all of the wonderful comments.
Paul Taubman says
Isn’t the SYC a great place for community, for getting a kick in the butt, and getting things done? I love it!
